Data mining contest and GameLab in Minsk

DataDigger

DataDigger – a data mining contest – is carried out in Belarus for the first time and is oriented to students and IT specialists. Everybody are welcome to take part in it, regardless of age and experience.

DataDigger participants will find out interesting problems, demanding applying best of their abilities to be solved, their personal researches in data analysis; master class from the area experts and Datathone – the final of a contest, when jury would be determining the winner.

DataDigger contest is targeted to Belarusian specialists regardless of their age and experience. Tho only condition to be met is having the research makings, good analytical abilities and interest to data mining. Participation in the contest will allow to:

• listen educating master class;
• carry out your own research;
• have consultation of professional data mining specialists;
• start your own career in the intellectual software.

All participants will receive recognition gifts, and winner will have the main prize, which equals to 10 000 000 of Belarusian rubles.

First meeting of the current season will be dedicated to one of the main questions to arise while creating the startup: money before, during and after the game starting. Participants will have presentations and master classes from heads of gaming companies, the interactive, useful contacts and non-formal communication.

The event is free of charge, but registration is necessary to take part in it.
