Call for participation: LVEE Winter 2016

Winter session of the international conference of FOSS developers and users, the Linux Vacation / Eastern Europe, will take place on 12—14 February 2016 near Minsk.
The LVEE team is pleased to announce the call for participation for the winter session of LVEE 2016. We invite you to submit proposals for presentations and lightning talks and participation requests.
LVEE Winter 2016, the winter session of the Linux Vacation / Eastern Europe conference, accompanies the summer LVEE conference traditionally gathering participants from Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, and the European Union countries every year since 2005.
LVEE offers a place for free software enthusiasts and professional to meet and exchange ideas in a friendly informal setting. LVEE is the biggest FOSS event in Belarus.
The presentation topics are normally centred around at design, development, maintenance and adoption of free software solutions. We also organise round table discussions on how open technologies integrate into business solutions and corporate and governmental IT systems.
Official conference languages are Russian, Belarusian and English.
The conference format includes presentations and lightning talks, round table and panel discussions, workshops and hacking sessions. The set topics is traditionally broad: reports on new free software technologies, software products or their usage, open source businesses, software security, licensing, legal and policy issues and so on. Speakers of the conference, representatives of the sponsors and the press are free from paying the participation fee.
To participate in LVEE Winter 2016, it is necessary to register on the conference site, http://lvee.org. Participation requests must be submitted before Monday 8th February 2016. To be included into the conference programme, abstracts of presentations should be peer reviewed. The speakers are required to submit all necessary materials using the on-line abstracts reviewing system on the conference website.
