Reception of applications for LVEE Winter 2013 is open

Winter session of the international conference of FOSS developers and users, the Linux Vacation / Eastern Europe, will be held on February 15-17, 2013 near Minsk.
Reception of reports and applications for participation is opened, sponsors are welcome.
LVEE Winter 2013, the winter session of the Linux Vacation / Eastern Europe conference, will be held this year for the second time, as the addition to a traditional summer variant of LVEE, which annually gathers participants from Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, and the European Union countries starting from 2005.
LVEE combines communication and rest of enthusiasts of free / open source software, and is known as the main event in life of Belarus FOSS community.
The event will take place near the city of Minsk, at February 15–17, 2013.
LVEE Winter has a goal of experience sharing between the specialists at design, development, maintenance and adoption of open source solutions, and the software business representatives, interested in a FOSS phenomenon, as far as discussing the role of open technologies in the evolution of business solutions, corporate and state IT systems.
Official conference languages are Russian, Belorussian and English. Its format mainly includes oral presentations and lightning talks, while round tables, workshops, and code-sprints are also accepted. The spectrum of topics is traditionally wide — from a report on new free / open technologies, software products and practice of their usage, and open source business to the analysis of legal and economic aspects of free licensing.
To participate in LVEE Winter 2013 it is necessary to pass registration on the conference site, http://lvee.org. Participation requests are accepted till February 9. To be included into the conference program, abstracts of presentations should pass the stage of collective reviewing, and therefore speakers should submit necessary materials through the abstracts online editing system on the conference website.
Organization board invites sponsors. By now SaM Solutions, Promwad, EPAM Systems, Wargaming.net companies have already announced their support of LVEE Winter 2013, as far as hoster.by and it-job.by resources.
